Meet The Directors

Geoffrey K. Oman

Managing Director

Geoff founded the UK’s first ‘Kitchen Design Centre’ in 1969, after identifying a gap in the market whilst working for a local builders’ merchant. His knowledge and experience in the industry are invaluable to the successful operation and development of the business, as well as an inspiration to the Roundel Team.

Tristram Oman

Group Sales Director

Tristram is vastly experienced in the retail kitchen sector. This, together with his strong leadership skills, enables him to effectively direct and manage the delivery of the company strategy.

Martyn Cole

Group Service Director

Appointed to the board in 2019, Martyn’s leadership abilities, coupled with his passion for sustained and scalable organisation, places him at the forefront of the company's service strategy, which underpins continued business growth.

Katharine Oman-Goode

Group Retail & Marketing Director

Appointed to the Board in 2020, Katharine has a degree in Business Studies from the University of Sunderland and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Katharine brings a broad perspective to the business, with almost 20 years management experience across a diverse range of companies and industries, including travel, retail, fashion and aerospace.

Phil Grant

Group Director of Technology & Innovation

Phil first joined RML Group in 2000 as IT Programmer after studying Programming at Northumbria University. He became IT Manager in 2004, Head of IT in 2010 and then Head of Research & Development in 2017. He prides himself on his hands on approach to his work, and over the years has worked in every area of the business, designing systems that are truly tailored to the needs of each department.

We believe it should be right first time every time, but acknowledge this is not always the case and how you resolve issues created is as important.

We believe if we look after our customers the profit will look after itself, that customer goodwill is difficult to gain but easy to lose.

We believe if we wouldn’t have a Roundel kitchen in our own home, then we shouldn’t have them in the homes of our customers.
