Who are Roundel

The original business was founded in 1969 by the present Directors, trading under the name of Kitchen Design Centre. Roundel was formed in 1981 to manufacture kitchens originally for sale through the Kitchen Design Centre showrooms.

It quickly became apparent that we could offer our high quality product to trade customers. We started to supply independent retailers with our kitchens in 1983 whilst an opportunity presented itself in 1984, which allowed us to supply kitchens to a number of nationally recognised house builders. This continues today.

Roundel combine State of the Art design in our Manufacturing coupled with unrivalled Customer Service in pursuit of Quality.

You can be totally confident that Roundel provides the Complete Package, from initial design through to Installation, Including After Sales customer care service.

We currently operate from 6 sites with a workforce of approximately 160. Our Head Office being located in South Shields.

For retail customers, we supply kitchens under the trading style of Nixons Kitchens and provide an independent website www.nixonskitchens.co.uk for their assistance.
